It's been a pretty good year for me..well, at least for this quarter of 2006. Everything seems to be going well and as planned. To add, I was head-hunted..still thinking ...and more thinking...lotsa thinking actually.

But for now, i'm just looking forward to be in Vietnam with hubba.. The week after Easter...Yes!! company retreat and i'm dragging him along....

Got my 'letter' yesterday...and first to go into the boardroom...just like 'The Apprentice'...just that i'm not in there to get fired...well, i came out with 'wide smile'....wider than ever!! hahhahhahahaha

Sucks!! I was voted to be in the 2006 Recreational Committee!!! Meaning...more work!!...planning!!...torturing!! Officially said that we will have to start planning for Chinese New Year lunch/dinner...Humph, let see....where shall we plan for our 2006 Company Trip??? In this office there are bunch of spoilt brat(including Me! hahahahhaaa) we have high preference....SIA a must!...5 star hotel preferably!....good food priority!! Nevertheless, WE, the 2006 RC gang are ranked as sporty, young, beautiful people with fantastic taste and excellent thinking hat!! hahahahahhahahaha....being reason why they voted us!! I'm saying these just to uplift my 'about to sink spirit'... boo hooo!!!

Trip to Malacca was not really a good one..at least for me. Had a bad headache..probably due to lack of sleep and Sofea crankiness!! We didn't joined them for shopping at Mahkota Parade...Infact, we came back empty handed. The traffic at JB and S'pore checkpoint was hell!!...We reached home 15 minutes past 6. All of us were too tired ..lights off and in bed by 8. I dragged myself to office the next day...tempted to take sick leave hehhehhee but nope...stuffs at office that need my attention.

Friday 16th December...office christmas lunch at Raffles Bar & Billard Room...same venue every year..how boring!! I'm overload with plans for the next 3 weekends...Let see, a day at Wild Wild Wet...birthday party at McDonald's West Coast Park....Hi-Tea at Cafe Vienna...shopping for christmas gift exchange (yg ini malas nyer!!!)...tea party at my place...BBQ gathering with my family at West Coast Park and Zul Radi's Birthday party (same day!!)....minor 'makeover' to my kitchen hehehehee (for this, it will take a day to complete!!)....and sista-in-law engagement. There goes my 'kaching'!!!

Last Sunday, friends came over to our house and stayed up till 2 a.m....Gosh!! I was dead tired and decided not to come to office the next day...When we planned for get together, they ended up at our place...well, it's a good sign thought...they love our company and especially our humble abode...the children will be in Sofea's and Ryan's playroom..And we will be in the living room....I served my guests with finger food that night....samosas, onion rings...nuggets..dipped in italian seasoning mayonnaise...Thai chilli sauce....then came Don with satays!!! And not forgetting our house pouring hot favourite special teh tarik made by me hehehehehee...

On 24th December, I'm gonna have a small 'tea party' at home...with my office buddy and her children......Sofea been pestering me to invite them over. I think, more of 'lantak party' rather to 'tea party' hhahahahahahaha....

We are off to Malacca tomorrow morning....my sista booked a Villa at A'Famosa to accomodate 3 families. I bet it's gonna be 3 days 2 nights of fun!!...with my twin nephew tagging along.....more like our standby comedian stooges....hahahhahahaa. Shall update when we are back!!

Sorry folks...have not been updating promptly. Busy with work, life, visiting...and upcoming plans. Tomorrow, is Sarah's birthday party. She sent us a vain MMS video clip saying "Please come to my birthday party..and don't forget my present"...hahahahaaa...How cute!!...When Sofea saw it...she was way too excited and decided to have her own video clip taken while singing a birthday song to Sarah..and have Ryan on the background as a backup vocal!!....hahahahhahaha.

Dearest Sarah, we have not buy you any gift yet!!...hahahaaa...probably will do it tomorrow morning...i have something in mind...wonder if hubba can drive us to Holland Village....or i'll drive!!

Ahem..ahem!! I've succeeded in making Cheesecake with Mascarpone cheese, apricots and amaretti....it's a miracle!! and too bad no picture taken cos' my digicam went on strike!! benci seh!!...saw the recipe while browsing a Fashion and Home magazine at the library....way back in November 2004 edition with Catherine Zeta Jones on the cover. Just went ga-ga looking at their home decor and stuffs.....english tea party...with all the China Bone tea set...came back home and started tellin' hubba what i wanna for our next house hahahahahaaa...again, i was so inspired at that very moment...then the very next hour or even minute...it just went 'plop..plop..plop'!! hahahahhahaaa. The so called 'planning' will only take it place in early part of next year....whatsoever agenda will have to wait.

In the meantime, I shall keep on with my wishful thinking hahahhaaaa.

Huh..4 pm?? It seems like 6 pm!!! Probably due to cloudy weather outside .. quiet & blardy cold here in the office!!..That makes me wanna doze off!!!! Arrgghh!!!..

This morning, on my way to office...tuning in to Ria 89.7 FM in the car...A caller from New Zealand by the name of Jamaliah...the moment I heard her voice..I knew who she is hahahahahaaa..she's my schoolmate buddy's mommy!! Yeah, I could recognised her voice almost instantly...ahahahhaaaa..I knew her as a very 'garang' lady..but she's kind and understanding too hehehheeee. With friends like 'us'....macam manalah mommy dia tak garang hahahhahaa...So, I sent a text message to my buddy...yes, we still keep in touch...saying "Hey, your mommy on air earlier..I knew it's your mommy..could recognised her voice....and she called you by your pet name, 'Nora' hehehehehhee.....Nora's replied (though her real name is not 'Nora') "Wah, your memory band very good!!!!....masih ingat kau eh!!!"

I make reservation for 6 pax at Putri Pan Pacific JB for Iftar on Sunday..Saturday fully booked!!..Booking for Saturday's Iftar must be at least a week before..well, too late!!!

I sprained my neck last week. Nope! I'm not wearing a neck braces..No way!! Friday morning, I got up at 7 am..thinking I could wake up abit later..but not!!!! I decided to prepare breakfast for all.....a quick simple fried rice. That will just do it...Ryan love hot and spicy dish rather that the normal breakfast cereals or baby porridge..or even soups!!..he just hate it!! You see, when I was preggie with him...I love eating nasi padang...with lots of sambal belacan!!! with ulams!!...lots of green chilli padi!! And before I had him...I did managed to catch lunch at Hjh Maimunah before checking in to the labour ward at Raffles Hospital...hahahahhahahahaa. Ok, over with breakfast.

Lunch at KFC..Sofea's requested to have lunch there..we did. After lunch, we all went to JB..walk abit....shop....walk abit...snack...walk abit...shop....walk abit....snack hahahahahahahha. Yes indeed!! I managed to eat bubur at Singgah Slalu for dinner...my first attempt there. I still prefer the bubur at Taman Sentosa....though it's kinda 'warong' by the roadside thingy...akan tetapi, sedap nyer aduhai...heheheheeheheheeee...Forgotten to take picture at Singgah Slalu...it's ok..can always Singgah Slalu hehehehehheehe.

Saturday, we were out of our abode at 8.30 am...hahahaha...And guess what?? We headed down to Suntec City...the place where I work...my office...macam nak pergi kerja pulak hahahhahahahha....but nope..me not working on Saturday..but to join in the KIA Break the Vault Code....and there we could see flocked of people queuing up...the KIAsu!!...and one of them was hubba hahahahhahahahahaa. It was fun!!!...though we didn't win anything eheheeeee...then yedda yedda yedda...met up with the Jujats & Company... to Singapore Expo...to Geylang...eat chendol...eat telur penyu!! hehehhheee..I like!!..then yedda yedda yedda...dinner at Adam Road...Mee Soto for me!! Yumz!!

Stayed home Sunday for us....and 'messing up' the kitchen for me...Breakfast, I fried macaroni...as usual, Ryan finished his breakfast...only if it's pedas!! Granted!! I cooked the main dish for lunch...ayam kicap...the other side dishes like the vegs, omelette...my maid had to handle it. Ma'am dah penat...

Heya! Been updating and keeping tracked on my latest family affair......It does remind me of soap opera episodes...

The sad thing in life, sometimes you meet someone who means a lot to you... only to find out in the end that it was never bound to be and you just have to let go. But keep in mind that letting go isn't the end of the world, it's the beginning of a new life..

Here comes weekend!!..The same old routine..Wake up as early as 7 am..head to shower alone or with Sofea or Ryan.....prepare breakfast...plan what to cook for lunch (that if we are not going out for the day)... play with my kiddos..the clock will strike ten, then hubba will wake up...and request for his 'teh tarik'.

There will be slight changes for tomorrow...he will be out early..so, he will wake up at 7 am...his company 'Family Day' in Batam?? What kind of 'Family Day' if your family here not welcome???? Craps!!

Well, I'm fine with that arrangement..yeah, yeah, yeah. It's kinda creepy right?? He's there to work on weekdays....so what if he's an expat there..it's only Batam!!! Big hoo-ha deal??!! So, what's with Batam on weekend??? Everytime someone mentioned Batam...it's like a worst nightmare!! I felt the same way too initially..but now, it's rather lamed and immuned to me.

Just received a phone call from Sofea's playgroup teacher, Anita. Sofea been crying out loud and refused to take the class photo session today...I've been mentioning it to her on the photo taking since Friday....and Sofea seems fine about it. And today, she's all panicked!!...Apparently, she was the only child in her class that way too afraid of the set up and the photographer. She cried and puke!!..Oh! that's my Sofea..

Oh dear!! Oh no!!..my lips are super thick since morning!! I've noticed a slight changes to the actual "Catherine Zeta Jones" size to "Angelina JoLie" size...hahahahahaa. I don't mind the changes though..but why chapped???!! Damn!! Could it be the new M.A.C lip gloss I put on this morning???? Previously, I had only Bobbi Brown lip gloss..since the last stick ran low...so I thought, since M.A.C is cheaper and have the similar color to my all time favourite Bobbi Brown...so, I switched. Baby Ballet classes at Suntec City are fully booked...the next intake (per term basis) will be in September. Apparently, they conduct ONLY one class every Saturday from ten to eleven....the other Attitude Arts Studio located at Bukit Timah Plaza they have more baby ballet classes........I shall tag Sofea along this Saturday...let her go around and have a little 'orientation'...hope she will understand the idea of ballet dancing...or maybe not.

When I was in my younger days. I have the interest, the urged to take up piano lesson. But my parent didn't allow me to.... so here I am now, WITHOUT the additional SKILL!!hee hee heee. Some said..I'm not too old to start..but I rather encourage my children instead..well, if they do have the interest....why not? Afterall, we parents always want the best for our children....again, up to our 'comfort' level...I guess, during my time..my 'request' went over their 'comfort' level....

We had fun time together celebrating our nation 40th National Day!! We managed to catch a glimpse of fireworks while on our way to Tanjung Rhu area....Sofea, was amazed!!......Though, we were not at the padang, yishun, jurong east nor tampines to join in the party, the celebration amostphere were everywhere!! You see singaporeans in red and white almost every corner of the streets!! The spirit of being a singaporeans were so overwhelming!!...We are proud to be Singaporeans!!

After all the fun, we had supper at Jalan Kayu. Again, we saw flocked of singaporeans wearing red & white...Patriotic spirit!! Actually, we are amongst the 'flocked' too hehehhhehee...Me and hubba ordered the 'usual'....mee with mee hoon goreng....but the 'usual' turned out nasty...& awful!!...First, the color...it was sooo pale!! I give amiss...Thought, maybe the taste will be the same as 'usual'....Unfortunately, NOT!!! Humph...that really upset me to the max!! I could have tell the world that they have the 'BEST' mee with mee hoon goreng when I had my previous suppers & dinners.....after yesterday, it was a massive BLUEK!!!

Why do GUYS cheat......

Gals who claim dat their guys cheat on them never seem to see the 'real' problem. Problem is they cheat cos: (1) they are too tired of being control by you, (2) they never found the attention that they want from you, cos you are always expecting attention from him only, (3) beauty doesnt last, no matter how beautiful u are, there will always be another beautiful lady that comes along, and then what, (4) its just innate or inborn in men, we are born to have instinctive beahviour to have more than one partner. Dont focus on (4), cos it beyond your control. Look in the mirror for point (1), (2) and (3)..are u guilty?

Why do GUYS cheat......my views:~

A guy says he cheated not to hurt his girlfriend, but because he didn't want to force her to do something that she didn't want to do. So he did those things with other girls. But honestly girls, if a guy doesn't respect you enough to wait till you are ready to do those things with him if ever than he's not worth your time because you shouldn't feel pressure in to doing those things with him in fear of him leaving you simply because you weren't ready. And a relationship between a girl and a guy shouldnt be about sex sex sex all the time. And he shouldnt break up with you because you didn't want to have sex. Another guy said that it made him feel better to know that he could get more than one girl at a time. And other guys say that they cheated because the relationship was getting old and they wanted to move on and some say they cheated because their girlfriend or wifey flirted with tons of guys and they wanted to get back at them. But I really don't think anything makes them cheat. They just get caught in the moment, and sure some guys like to blame their cheating on their girlfriends or wifeys but its really just temptation. But I don't think guys need a reason to cheat they do it because they can and because at that moment they think they wont get caught.

Again, I was away from work yesterday. I had to rush Sofea to NUH Children's A&E at 3.30 am...her fever didn't subside for 3 days!! The pediatrician suspected that she might got a urine infection...

1st test...it was POSITIVE...2nd test...again, POSITIVE...the 3rd test...NEGATIVE!!! The 1st & 2nd test..I collected her urine in the specimen cup...but the pediatrician reckoned that the 3rd test she will get it done by inserting a tube instead...just to make sure that the urine collected will not be contaminated & Alhamdullilah it's a NEGATIVE result!!

Now, she's at home resting & recovering...will be on sick leave till Friday. Back to school on Monday...Ryan will play a pediatrician to-be for his big sister for the whole week hehehehhehehe..

Munchkins are down with fever, flu & cough. Yesterday, I took a day off from work to be with them. Hope they are feelin' much better now....they sure do the last time I gave them a call at lunch.

BUYERS of private property and HDB flats now have to fork out less cash.

Instead of a 20 per cent cash downpayment, they need to pay only 10 per cent and, even then, half of it can come from CPF savings.

Also, they can get a bigger loan from banks for their purchase, up to 90 per cent of a property's value compared with 80 per cent before.

The changes take effect immediately, but for HDB homebuyers, the cash downpayment rule will start from Jan 1.

These new rules are part of a package of 13 changes announced in Parliament yesterday by National Development Minister Mah Bow Tan, who said it was the result of a 'holistic review' of various property-related policies.

The aim is 'neither to boost nor depress the property market', he stressed.

However, developers, banks, realtors and homebuyers were unanimous in their delight.

They foresee a boost for the struggling property market. The stock market shot up after the announcement and property counters like City Developments rose 75 cents to reach $8.85.

Would-be homebuyer Mark Ho, 42, may look for a bigger home, but will ensure he can afford it. 'Now that I have more cash, I can look for a more expensive or a bigger place.

'But with the smaller cash portion, the loan will be heavier, so I have to see whether I can finance the loan,' said the director of consultancy firm Lloyd McGill.

Realtors see HDB upgraders benefiting most. 'To them, the price of a property is not as important as the cash portion,' said PropNex division director Eric Cheng.

Also, prices of five-room and bigger flats - now in poor demand owing to the bigger cash outlay - will perk up.

'Most of these bigger flats are selling below valuation. Now, more may be sold at valuation,' said PropNex chief executive Mohamed Ismail.

Surprised developers called the changes a balanced package which will make house ownership in Singapore more affordable.

Their association, the Real Estate Development Association of Singapore (Redas), also said it would ensure prudent allocation of CPF funds for retirement as older people can now use CPF to buy homes with shorter leases.

Billionaire Kwek Leng Beng, who is executive chairman of City Developments said: 'The Government has sown the seeds of growth to propel us to the next level.'

But some MPs are urging caution. They include Dr Amy Khor (Hong Kah GRC), Ms Irene Ng (Tampines GRC) and Dr Ahmad Magad (Pasir Ris-Ponggol GRC).

Fearing an upsurge in property prices, Dr Khor said: 'Some of these changes seem to me to be a reversal of the government's policy to ensure prudence in property investment.'

Mr Mah said the Government would not relax its 'policy of prudence'. He urged Singaporeans to exercise caution. Similarly, banks must continue to make sure customers can afford the loans.

Redas, too, has one worry: It feels the changes to the Non-Residential Properties Scheme will affect entrepreneurs and SMEs which want to buy their own office space, shops and factories. From July 1 next year, CPF funds cannot be used to buy such properties.

The rise in property prices will not be immediate. 'Prices will creep up over time, maybe by 1 to 2 per cent in the next six months,' said C & H Realty managing director Albert Lu.

Official figures show private home prices are still more than 35 per cent below the 1996 peak. 'But the changes collectively will go a long way in lifting the gloom that has been hovering over the property market for a very long time,' said Chesterton International associate director Colin Tan.

She was very happy about it...First time ever in the history of her playgroup session, we both sent & pick her up from school....she ought to make a biggy hoo haa about it...before entering class, she told her teacher "Teacher, teacher...I wear lipstick" hahahahhahawahhaa...I put on lip gloss for her..the one that I got it from my niece...the Strawberry Shortcake lip gloss....sweet stuff!!

I took leave to go to Jurong Bird Park yesterday...along with us were, my sister, my mother, my niece. We had a great time, though it was rainin'....then, we proceed to Jurong Point for our 'feast' at Banquet...I had my favourite food.. none other than Ba Mian....Yummy!!

Mr Chapman officially will be joining our KL office this Wednesday 13th July...we hosted a farewell lunch for him just now......I thought the food were just ok...overall, the 'guest' enjoyed it!!

We were at the Singtel roadshow at NAC on Saturday...changed my mobile to Nokia 6680 ..and as usual, hubba will trade his to mine...well, his mobile is rather new too...a Nokia 6670....Anyway, I don't need the extra 3G function....well, he PAID for it!!! wahahahwaahhaha...

But our Saturday ended 'sour' due to a slight misunderstanding....Sunday morning, was back to 'normal'...I drove to monster-in-law's place (oops! typo error...mother-in-law) to pick him up....in the afternoon, we went to the airport to get a lil something there...and redeemed an ice cream tub from Swensen's...flavour "Sticky Chewy Chocolate!!"
